GriefShare

GriefShare is a 13 week video-educational program developed by Church Initiative.  It gives information about the grieving process within the framework of Biblical beliefs.  Participants in GriefShare obtain an understanding of grief firsthand from people interviewed by the video leaders.  The videos are down to earth and yet highly informative.  On-site discussion after viewing the videos gives the participants a chance to digest the information within their own context of grief.

People who have attended GriefShare at St. John note:

“It has helped me learn and understand the process of grieving and how much my faith was so integral a part to healing.”

“I feel loved and understood.  I learned that my grief is normal and natural.”

“My faith in God and the salvation of Jesus Christ was reaffirmed.”

“This has truly been helpful.”

If you know of a grieving relative or friend, invite them to GriefShare.  This Care Ministry program is open to anyone who is in the process of grief.

The GriefShare program will start February 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center.
